Curracloe Beach is a regular holder of the Blue Flag Beach status. The dunes are currently the subject of an active conservation policy by Wexford County Council ensuring that this marvellous amenity and the plant and wildlife it contains, will be preserved for future generations. A nature trail runs through the dunes and continues for 5 km to Raven Point, passing through the beautiful peninsula which constitutes Raven Nature Reserve....

Leave the harbour, taking the Harbour road. Turn left at Kilrane, where a tourist office operates during the summer months. St. Helens Bay Golf and Country Club (signposted, 4km), boasts an 18-hole golf course overlooking the coast and beach. This course is a fine mix of links and parkland and the marvellous views can be a pleasant accompaniment on the golfing round. There are two lovely beaches by the course and the Sli Charman - Wexford Coastal Path - can be joined here....

Sli Charman, The Wexford Coastal Path, was established in 1993 by Wexford Co. Council. An tSli (The Path) extends for 221 kilometres from Kilmichael Point in the North East cormer of Co. Wexford to Ballyhack, a picturesque village in the south West of our county.
