In an old thatched farmhouse in Ballyduff, Camolin, Co. Wexford every first Tuesday night of each month and every Tuesday night of July and August, the local people gather to tell their stories, sing their songs and play their music.
This is an authentic traditional farmhouse gathering. There is no artificial hype or publicity. Each person who arrives is a welcome guest, there is no fee charged. This is Irish hospitality at its best. People who bring refreshments share them out with the evening's gathering. Ar mBreacha means 'our roots' and it seeks to 'bring the past with us into the future'.
Ar mBreacha welcomes people of any nationality in particular if they lay claim to Irish roots. But Ar mBreacha has been enriched by so many international story tellers who have no Irish connections at all.
Ar mBreacha promises to bring you back in time in an authentic setting enabling you to experience Irish hospitality first hand and send you on your way refreshed and rejuvenated.
